Job summary

CVS Health seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and implement digital solutions, focusing on scalable applications and APIs. You will work with Java Spring Boot, Node.js, and GraphQL, building AI-enabled capabilities across cloud-native architectures.

You’ll contribute to system architecture, drive API design, and collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to deliver measurable business outcomes while mentoring teammates and promoting technical excellence.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong backend API development with Java Spring Boot, Node.js and GraphQL.
• Experience with Kubernetes-based deployments and API security.
• Observability, logging, monitoring, distributed tracing, and alerting.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to architecture decisions and API-driven platforms.
• Develop, test, deploy, and maintain backend services.
• Design scalable, secure APIs using Java Spring Boot, Node.js, REST, and GraphQL.
• Identify and deliver AI-driven solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalability, performance, and security.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices.
