Job summary

Erias Ventures seeks engineers to design, develop, and maintain backend libraries and services that transform diverse data formats into a common internal model. This hands-on senior role centers on Java development with Python components as needed, plus system administration tasks in a Linux/MongoDB environment.

The ideal candidate has deep Java experience, knowledge of varied data formats (JSON, XML, CSV), strong problem solving skills, and the willingness to perform development and operational

Qualifications

• Minimum of six (6) years of experience with technical expertise in three or more areas listed under Required Skills.
• Eight (8) years of work experience in four or more areas listed under Required Skills.
• Experience developing software applications in Java, C/C++, C#, or .NET.
• Experience with Unix/Linux/Windows environments and Windows DLL development.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, SNMP, SIP, MEGACO, or related protocols.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain data ingestion and transformation logic and shared libraries for data formats.
• Collaborate on data modeling decisions and integration patterns across applications.
• Contribute to development workflows using Git, code reviews, and continuous improvement practices.
• Administer Linux and MongoDB in production, including server upgrades and monitoring.
