Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with strong backend focus.
• Hands-on experience building distributed applications and low-latency services.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, XML, and API lifecycles.
• Hands-on experience with Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, JUnit, Jenkins, and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with Kafka or similar streaming technologies; Kafka Streams desirable.
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Commitment to secure coding, testing, and engineering collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services for Digital Banking platforms with high transaction volume and reliability.
• Lead distributed systems design across service decomposition and event-driven workflows.
• Build Java microservices and REST APIs using modern patterns.
• Contribute to workflow implementations and orchestration best practices.
• Mentor engineers and participate in design/code reviews and architecture discussions.
• Ensure platforms are scalable, observable, and aligned to SLAs for users.
