Job summary

Happiest Minds Technologies is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer (Backend) to join the Access Manager team. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services in Java with Spring Boot for Disney Streaming, focusing on secure, reliable data access for data scientists and data engineers.

Responsibilities include building AWS infrastructure with Terraform, writing clean, well-documented code, and participating in code reviews and architecture discussions to drive

Qualifications

5+ years of software engineering experience with strong Java background.
Experience with AWS and SQL/NoSQL databases.
Solid understanding of system architecture and code quality.
Strong problem-solving and written/verbal communication skills.
Terraform and Python experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
Develop and deploy AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
Document system design and decisions for team and organizational knowledge.
Follow security best practices in development.
Troubleshoot and resolve ambiguous technical issues in production and development environments.
Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
