Zeta Global is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help scale the Identity Graph backend. You will design APIs, build distributed systems, and optimize event-driven pipelines for billions of signals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend and/or data engineering at enterprise scale.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala with API design focus.
• Experience with Kafka, streaming frameworks (Spark/Hive/Flink), and schedulers (Airflow/Luigi).
• Proficiency with Kubernetes (EKS) and AWS cloud deployment practices.
• Knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and high-throughput NoSQL/columnar databases.

Responsibilities

• Design and build backend services and APIs for identity resolution and platform integrations.
• Optimize event-driven pipelines processing billions of signals.
• Deploy and operate cloud-native services on EKS/Kubernetes using Helm.
• Ensure reliability, observability, and scalability across services and data pipelines.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and data teams and mentor junior engineers.
