Sysdig is seeking a senior backend engineer to design and implement scalable APIs and services that integrate with IBM Cloud. You will partner with product and infrastructure teams to define interfaces, ensure maintainability, and guide the evolution of managed services in cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and building distributed backend systems and APIs.
• Experience with cloud fundamentals (compute, networking, identity, security) and IBM Cloud specifics.
• Experience with IAM/OIDC/JWT/RBAC and cloud IAM concepts; IBM Cloud IAM a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of scalable backend APIs and services.
• Collaborate with Product, Infrastructure, and Partner teams to define interfaces.
• Guide evolution of managed service capabilities in cloud environments, IBM Cloud.
• Influence long-term architecture and technical direction for IBM Cloud integrations.
