Job summary

Teleport is hiring backend engineers for the Application Access (MCP) team to design and implement secure backend services and APIs for auditing, session recording, and identity workflows at scale.

You will work in a remote-first, globally distributed environment with Go, Linux, and security-focused challenges, collaborating with product managers, security researchers, and engineers to strengthen access controls across infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Go experience.
• Linux systems engineering.
• Web Fundamentals (cookie security, HTTP streaming and proxying).
• OAuth experience.

Responsibilities

• Building backend integrations with cloud provider's managed databases.
• Working on scalability and resiliency of clusters with 10K+ nodes.
• Implementing advanced HTTPS proxy with identity aware access control.
• Building hardened security for Linux and Mac users.
