Job summary

Concept Solutions, LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with Go/Node.js expertise to build, modernize, and sustain mission-critical DoW applications. You will work on high-volume, public-facing systems, supporting secure cloud operations and ensuring reliability.

The role requires 7+ years in backend engineering with production Node.js or Go, REST APIs, and PostgreSQL. This remote position includes on-call duties and security clearances alongside a strong security posture.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of backend software engineering experience, with production exposure in Node.js or Go.
• Strong experience developing and maintaining REST APIs.
• Hands-on SQL and PostgreSQL experience.
• Experience operating and supporting production applications in cloud environments.
• Knowledge of formal change control processes and privileged-access security requirements.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot production issues and support releases.

Responsibilities

• Sustain and enhance high-volume, public-facing web applications, applying security patches and delivering releases under formal change control.
• Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and Go, with React/TypeScript front-end apps and PostgreSQL databases.
• Support containerized deployments in cloud environments.
• Integrate apps with identity providers and platform services for secure functionality.
• Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and sustainment procedures.
• Participate in on-call rotations to support production availability and incident resolution.
• Identify and remediate security findings and vulnerabilities; maintain software dependencies.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure reliability, performance and security.
