Job summary

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software-engineering experience.
• Experience building production backend systems in Go or another modern language.
• 3+ years with relational databases including design, optimization and data migration.
• Strong PostgreSQL experience and data-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
• Lead or contribute to database migration and modernization projects.
• Analyze existing applications and databases to identify dependencies and risks.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas, queries, indexes, partitions, triggers, and stored procedures.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, product teams, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure data integrity, security, reliability, and performance throughout processes.
• Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve design, implementation, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, production support, and mentoring.
