Job summary

CACI International Inc is seeking a Senior Backend Software Developer for the GEOINT Tradecraft Suite (GTS) in Denver. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services, RESTful APIs, and data pipelines that support mission applications and geospatial intelligence workflows.

Collaborating with software engineers, product owners, DevSecOps, and mission stakeholders, you will influence backend architecture, establish development best practices, and deliver reliable capabilities

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience with backend Java.
• Active TS/SCI clearance; polygraph preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/SE/IS or related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong REST APIs, relational DBs (PostgreSQL/MySQL), Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and services using Java.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, microservices, and data services for mission apps.
• Design and implement solutions using AWS cloud-native architectures with reliability and security.
• Model, query, and optimize data in PostgreSQL/MySQL and Elasticsearch/OpenSearch.
• Provide technical leadership through architecture decisions, code reviews, and mentoring.
