Cogent is hiring senior backend engineers to design and scale backend services and integrations powering autonomous AI workers. You will shape architecture, mentor teammates, and help scale the team as we partner with design partners.

You should have 5+ years building distributed systems, strong Python/Go, and hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform and CI/CD in multi-cloud deployments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional backend engineering and leadership.
• Expertise architecting scalable backend systems, stateless/stateful.
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices and serverless.
• Strong Python or Go and concurrency/memory optimization.
• API design and integration with frontends, data platforms, third parties.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform and CI/CD in multi-cloud environments.
