Job summary

Cogent is hiring a Senior+ Infrastructure Engineer to build a secure, scalable foundation for its AI-enabled cybersecurity products. You will join a Core Platform pod spanning infrastructure, security, and compliance, contributing hands-on across data platforms, security tooling, and the platform layer used by agents.

You will own high-impact infrastructure initiatives across diverse stakeholders. The role requires deep core infra experience, strong coding skills, AWS expertise, and experience

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of software engineering with deep core infrastructure.
• Hands-on AWS experience.
• Experience with Clickhouse Cloud at the serving layer.
• Real depth in Spark and micro-batching.
• A track record of driving large-scale projects across multiple stakeholders.
• Experience building in an AI-forward capacity, with agentic coding fundamentals.
• Startup or early-stage background (up to ~200 people), ideally blended with large-company experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize data platform storage with a focus on Clickhouse and Postgres.
• Make product deployable on-prem to unlock onboarding for large customers.
• Harden our security systems.
• Build an agent-first infra and platform layer for agent-based product development.
• Drive large-scale infrastructure projects end-to-end across stakeholders.
