Job summary

Opto is engineering the future of private markets to improve client outcomes and drive capital to transformative ideas. As a Software Engineer you will turn complex business problems into elegant software, owning end-to-end engineering from design to deployment on a TS/React/Python stack.

You will build intuitive user experiences for all phases of the investment process, operating in a fast-paced startup with AWS deployments and CI/CD, and collaborating with product and data teams to ship

Qualifications

• A 4-year technical degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field, or the experience that proves you didn’t need one

Responsibilities

• Own the delivery of high quality software projects, coordinating with teammates and stakeholders to hit mutually agreed upon timelines
• Contribute to all phases of product development across specification, implementation, code review, QA testing, deployment, and operations
• Seek context and rapidly iterate on solutions to eliminate ambiguity and drive projects forward
• Participate actively in engineering recruiting (interviewing, problem specification, role ownership, etc)
• Raise your hand when you need help - don’t hesitate to reach out to stakeholders (product, teammates, managers, etc) to unblock your progress
