Raydar in San Francisco, CA is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to join a fast-growing team building production-grade server-side systems. You will own projects end-to-end, shipping new code quickly and collaborating with executives to bring ideas to users.

The role values 3–10 years of backend experience, CS/engineering degree, and hands-on Python and relational databases. It offers equity, flexible time off, and on-site work five days a week.

Qualifications

• 3 to 10 years of backend/software engineering experience.
• Experience at a fast-paced B2B software company, cloud provider, or large tech company.
• Undergraduate degree in computer science or engineering from a leading university.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of projects from idea to launch within a team that works without specialist hand-offs.
• Create new server-side components and grow the systems supporting them as demand rises.
• Collaborate in person each day with senior staff and executives, so changes reach users fast.
• Improve peer code review, developer tooling and automated build and deploy pipelines.
