Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional full-time software engineering experience building scalable backend platforms.
• Strong proficiency in modern backend languages, preferably Go, Java, C++, or Python.
• Deep understanding of high-throughput, low-latency microservice architectures, RESTful APIs, and gRPC/Protobuf protocols.

Responsibilities

• Architect extensible APIs: Lead the end-to-end design and execution of core platform services.
• Orchestrate high-throughput systems: Design robust workflow orchestration across multi-tiered downstream service dependencies.
• Drive low-latency performance: Implement multi-layered caching to minimize latency and optimize load.
• Champion observability & reliability: Define metrics and dashboards (Grafana) with multi-tiered alerting for availability.
• Lead cross-functional alignment: Partner with product and eng teams to standardize API contracts and roadmaps.
