We're looking for a senior-level backend engineer with a passion for designing low-latency, high-performance systems. This is a rare opportunity to join a top-tier, remote-friendly trading team and take full ownership of building an OTC/HFT trading stack — from scratch.

This role sits at the heart of an ambitious new trading initiative. You’ll be building infrastructure that enables large-scale, institutional crypto trading — integrating capital routing, exchange connectivity, and real-time execution logic into a unified, mission-critical platform.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Architect and build a greenfield OTC/high-frequency trading system
Write core backend services and APIs for automated workflows, monitoring, and execution
Optimise system latency and uptime — your work has direct P&L impact
Integrate with external exchanges and internal capital allocation engines
Collaborate closely with traders and product owners to turn market ideas into production-grade systems

Ideal Candidate:

5–8+ years of backend software engineering experience
Strong grasp of system design, backend architecture, and real-time performance tuning
Solid experience with Rust, C++, Go, or similar compiled backend languages
Has built systems in crypto, hedge funds, HFT, or payments/fintech environments
Strong understanding of API design, fault tolerance, and production observability
Practical knowledge of algorithms, trading logic, or financial systems a big plus
Polyglot mindset — curious, adaptable, and focused on solving real-world problems
