Job summary

Ava Labs, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own the Core backend services and contribute to the Core browser extension wallet. You will build scalable APIs, design secure UI systems, and collaborate with frontend, design, product, and security teams to deliver end-to-end Web3 solutions.

Candidate should bring 5+ years in backend and 3+ years in Typescript/Node.js and React, with hands-on AWS experience. The role supports a world-class wallet experience for Avalanche’s ecosystem.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of general backend development experience
• 3+ years of experience with Typescript/Node.js
• 3+ years of experience with React
• Experience with AWS Cloud Stack (DynamoDB, KMS, SQS, Lambda, etc)
• Passion for blockchain technology/web3 and eagerness to consume the latest news and developments

Responsibilities

• Build distributed, scalable, and highly performant APIs to support the Core wallet experience.
• Design, build, and deploy highly secure, scalable, and maintainable client-facing UI systems.
• Provide expertise in building the most user-friendly, visually appealing product UI.
• Create developer libraries and SDKs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend engineers, designers, and product and security experts, to deliver end-to-end solutions.
