Job summary

Rogue Credit Union is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop and optimize database driven applications for its core banking platform (Fiserv DNA). You will work with stakeholders to deliver scalable, member-centric solutions within timelines and budgets.

The role requires 5+ years in Oracle PL/SQL and Python, strong SQL proficiency, SDLC/Agile experience and a focus on efficient data processing within a banking context.

Qualifications

• 5+ years back-end programming with Oracle PL/SQL and Python 3 (or similar).
• Experience with SDLC, Agile, CI/CD, security and best practices.
• Strong understanding of banking domain and core processing platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document and maintain database driven applications and APIs for the core banking platform.
• Profile, tune queries, implement optimization and create reports for business users.
• Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to design scalable database schemas and architectures.
• Provide guidance on database design and lead Oracle schema optimization.
• Perform other duties as needed.
