Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of programming in Python/Java/C/C++.
• 3+ years of front-end tech (React, HTML5, CSS3).
• 5+ years building scalable distributed web apps using OSS or proprietary tech.
• Experience with data structures, algorithms, and RESTful APIs.

Responsibilities

• Own design, development, and delivery of core backend features within the Splunk Enterprise Security ecosystem.
• Drive technical execution from design to deployment using microservices, REST/gRPC, and Splunk app development.
• Solve complex problems in data orchestration, API design, distributed systems, and AI/ML model integration.
• Provide mentorship and code reviews, share backend architecture expertise, and promote cloud-native patterns.
• Monitor performance and reliability, drive improvements based on metrics and user feedback.
