Qualifications

• 10+ years of backend software engineering experience.
• Senior or staff level experience (3+ years in such roles).
• Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms (Azure, AWS or Google Cloud).
• Strong expertise in Python for distributed systems.
• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience building scalable backend services and APIs.
• Excellent system design and API design skills.
• Strong communication and mentorship abilities.

Responsibilities

• Define long-term platform strategy with product and engineering leadership.
• Design and build scalable, fault-tolerant microservices using Python and cloud patterns.
• Architect systems using Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code.
• Implement event-driven processing pipelines using messaging, pub/sub, and streaming technologies.
• Build and optimize service APIs, orchestration layers, and data pipelines.
• Design data models and storage strategies using RDBMS and NoSQL systems.
• Contribute to CI/CD, automated testing frameworks, and operational tooling.
