Job summary

Arc is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems powering boat infotainment and a mobile app. You will build robust data pipelines for telemetry, and create internal tools to improve manufacturing processes, while managing cloud resources and infrastructure.

The role focuses on aligning technical vision with business goals, optimizing performance and cost, and collaborating across teams to accelerate Arc’s trajectory in electric marine technology.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in backend engineering with scalable systems.
• Experience communicating with stakeholders and delivering ROI features.
• Proficiency with at least one cloud platform and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems powering our boat infotainment systems and mobile app.
• Build and optimize data pipelines for ingesting, processing, and visualizing telemetry data.
• Develop internal tools to improve manufacturing processes.
• Manage cloud resources and infrastructure.
