Job summary

FastTek Global in Dearborn, MI is seeking a Senior Back-end Software Engineer focused on Cloud & AI Platforms. The role centers on designing, building, and supporting cloud-native services and scalable APIs with a strong emphasis on Google Cloud Platform, DevOps, and platform engineering.

You will contribute to AI-powered solutions, ISV integrations, and enterprise workflows while shaping reusable platform capabilities. This position offers a path to grow a team and drive architectural vision.

Qualifications

Senior Engineer Exp: Prac. In 2 coding lang. or adv. Prac. in 1 lang.; guides. 10+ years in IT; 8+ years in development GCP expertise, Data / Analysis / Containerization and AI stack Hands-On
GCP Experience is required.
AI Stack Experience

Responsibilities

Build and enhance AI-enabled applications supporting engineering, business, and operational workflows across Product Development.
Integrate applications with enterprise knowledge sources, business systems, workflow platforms, and AI services.
Develop reusable platform capabilities supporting retrieval, orchestration, prompt management, evaluation, telemetry, and feedback workflows.
Support implementation of emerging AI architectures including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), agentic workflows, Model Context Protocol (MCP), and intelligent workflow automation.
Evaluate new technologies and contribute to reusable AI engineering standards, frameworks, and best practice
