Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• 5+ years of backend software development experience.
• Expert-level proficiency in C# and modern .NET, including ASP.NET Core (.NET 8 or later; on .NET 10).
• Proven experience designing and building microservices and RESTful APIs on Azure.
• Expertise in database design and management (SQL and NoSQL).
• Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with event-driven messaging (Azure Service Bus), including topic- and queue-based messaging.
• Deep understanding of API security best practices and authentication.
• Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor).
• Strong technical writing skills and Agile/Scrum experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain core back-end services, APIs, and microservices in C#/.NET.
• Architect and optimize SQL and NoSQL data stores for performance and security.
• Build and operate cloud-first solutions on Azure with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and CI/CD.
• Lead AI-assisted development practices and spec-driven development with clear docs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into designs.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and drive engineering excellence.
