Job summary

Yoodli AI Roleplays is hiring a Senior Software Engineer- Backend to help build the engine powering our AI-native learning platform. You will shape scalable backend services, integrate LLMs, and work across frontend and backend to deliver enterprise-grade software for company-wide rollouts.

You will be a hands-on engineer with strong cloud skills (AWS/GCP/Azure), distributed systems know-how, and a passion for real-time AI-powered applications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional development experience.
• Experience with LLMs, generative AI, and AI-powered applications.
• Strong backend capabilities - ownership of services end-to-end in fast-moving environments.
• Solid experience with cloud infrastructure (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and Infrastructure as Code.
• Proficiency in TypeScript or Python, with ability to debug complex distributed systems.
• Clear communicator across engineering and product, able to give and receive feedback.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• On-site in Seattle, WA 3 days a week (Mon, Tue, Thu).
• Experience with speech/audio processing technologies and real-time communication systems.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases and Kubernetes.
