TechTree, an AI-driven recruitment platform, is recruiting for a Senior Backend Software Engineer on behalf of a client. You will build the evals and automation behind AI-driven insurance operations, with a focus on back-office automation and an evals framework.

You’ll design and deliver Python services, scale LLM-based pipelines on AWS, and develop external APIs. This role offers remote work across the US, Canada, and Europe, with significant equity and location-dependent compensation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of building and operating backend systems in production.
• Strong Python, AWS serverless (Lambda, Step Functions) and asynchronous workflow experience.
• Strong relational database and PostgreSQL performance tuning skills.
• Experience building external-facing APIs or third‑party integrations.
• Bonus: LLMs in production, document pipelines, distributed systems, or insurance/fintech experience.

Responsabilités

• Lead the design and delivery of complex Python services, data models and asynchronous pipelines on AWS
• Build and scale LLM-based systems that process large volumes of unstructured documents with precision and explainability
• Design external-facing APIs and integrations that customers depend on
• Own database performance as data volume grows
