Jeeves, the stablecoin-native banking platform, is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to design and build backend systems powering payments, cards, spend management, and compliance for customers across the Americas and beyond. This remote, full-time role focuses on scalable services, API design, data models, security, and AI-assisted feature development.

You'll work with Go, Python, or TypeScript, collaborate across time zones, and contribute to production-grade infrastructure.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of professional backend engineering experience building production systems.
• Fluent in English for daily collaboration with global teams.
• Strong proficiency in Go, Python, or Node.js/TypeScript.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems.
• Solid understanding of PostgreSQL and other databases.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and Docker/Kubernetes.
• Ability to reliably integrate third-party APIs with observability.

Aufgaben

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services handling financial transactions across 20+ countries.
• Write production-grade code in Go, Python, or Node.js/TypeScript; participate in code reviews.
• Build RESTful and GraphQL APIs; design inter-service communication with gRPC and queues.
• Design relational and non-relational DB schemas for correctness and scale.
• Own features end-to-end—from scoping to deployment and monitoring.
• Implement security best practices across distributed services.
• Integrate AI-powered features and manage AI tool integrations in production.
