Job summary

StatusNeo Technology Consulting in Austin, TX is seeking a Backend Engineer to build the backend services and orchestration layer behind the Sales Command Center. The role bridges web/iOS experiences with Dynamics 365, creating reusable services that combine CRM data with other enterprise platforms.

Responsibilities include designing REST APIs, building BFFs, securing Dynamics integration, and implementing scalable, event-driven workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience building backend services and APIs.
• Experience with microservice architectures and API design.
• Proficiency in Python and FastAPI or similar frameworks.
• Hands-on with Azure services and cloud-native patterns.
• Experience with Dynamics 365 and Dataverse is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services using Python and FastAPI.
• Build BFFs, domain APIs and reusable services for Sales Command Center.
• Integrate securely with Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Dataverse.
• Create orchestration services across CRM and other enterprise systems.
• Implement REST APIs, asynchronous workflows and event-driven patterns.
• Develop authentication, authorization, retries, timeouts and error handling.
• Write unit and integration tests and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot production integration issues across UI, APIs and Dynamics.
