Job summary

Webflow, a leading visual development platform, is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join the Developer Platform team. This remote-friendly role (US & Canada) offers collaboration with designers, PMs, and engineers to build Webflow’s Dev Platform.

You’ll design APIs for external developers, tackle complex backend challenges, and contribute across the full SDLC with a focus on scalable systems and developer tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years shipping features in scalable backend systems.
• 2+ years building APIs for external audiences.
• Experience with Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB.
• Strong communication in fast-paced environments.
• Passion for building user-friendly developer tools.
