Job summary

US Mobile is seeking an exceptional backend engineer and hands-on architect to scale our platform to millions of devices and customers. You will design RESTful services, implement asynchronous messaging, and help shape the system through thoughtful code and architecture.

You will work with Java/Spring Boot or Python, embrace AI-assisted development tools, and collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps to deliver reliable, scalable features while maintaining high standards of quality.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with message brokers such as RabbitMQ or AWS SQS/SNS.
• Familiarity with MongoDB or other NoSQL database technologies.
• Experience integrating and leveraging AI-assisted development tools such as Claude and Opencode.
• Demonstrated ability to incorporate AI tools into the software development lifecycle.
• Solid understanding of Git, CI/CD workflows, and agile development practices.
• Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Solid understanding of Git, CI/CD workflows, and agile development practices
• Excellent debugging, problem‑solving, and communication skills
