Job summary

Inclusively Remote is seeking a Backend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain core backend services for trading systems. You will work on order, trading, market data, account, and asset systems with a focus on stability, performance, and high-quality delivery in a high-concurrency environment.

You will collaborate with product and QA teams to ensure reliable software delivery and continuous improvement of monitoring, incident response, and system health across critical financial workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 3+ years backend experience.
• Proficient in Go or Java; strong coding skills in backend development.
• Familiar with microservices and infrastructure such as MySQL, Redis, and message queues.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, high concurrency, data consistency, and stability.
• Able to analyze requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions.

Job description

We are looking for a Backend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain core backend services for trading systems. This role will contribute to order, trading, market data, account, and asset-related systems, with a strong focus on system stability, accuracy, performance, and high-quality delivery in a high-concurrency environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design, development, and maintenance of backend services for trading systems, and independently deliver technical solutions for core business modules.
• Contribute to the development of order, trading, market data, account, asset, and related systems, ensuring stable, accurate, and efficient system operations.
• Continuously optimize system performance, code quality, and maintainability; help address technical debt and build reusable common capabilities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, and support the improvement of monitoring, alerting, and incident response mechanisms.
• Work closely with Product, QA, and other engineering teams to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and of high quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science or a related field, with 3+ years of backend development experience.
• Proficient in at least one mainstream backend programming language such as Go or Java, with strong coding skills.
• Familiar with microservice architecture and commonly used infrastructure components such as MySQL, Redis, and message queues.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, with practical experience in high concurrency, data consistency, idempotency, and service stability.
• Ability to independently handle requirement analysis, technical solution design, development, testing, and production delivery.
• Strong problem-solving skills, communication and collaboration abilities, and a strong sense of ownership.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing trading, fintech, digital asset, or high-concurrency internet systems.
• Experience building order, market data, account, asset, clearing, or settlement systems.
• Experience in system performance optimization, stability improvement, or handling complex production issues.
