ReportAll USA is seeking a Lead Engineer to guide the technical direction from the codebase. You will design backend services using PHP/Laravel and Python, review code, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product to turn roadmaps into shippable features.

Remote-friendly US-based role with startup-mentality and the stability of an established company. 10+ years in software engineering and strong architecture, API design, and CI/CD experience are essential.

Competenze

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, including senior/lead capacity.
• Strong hands-on experience with PHP and Laravel in production.
• Working proficiency in Python for scripting, tooling, or service development.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes; Helm familiarity for deployment management.
• Proven history of collaborating with product teams and discussing requirements.
• Solid understanding of relational databases, API design, and system architecture.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and in a dynamic team environment.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline design and infrastructure-as-code.
• Experience in a fast-paced startup or small-team environment.
