Job summary

Vantor Inc. is seeking an experienced Back-End Software Engineer to support the design, development, integration, and sustainment of a large-scale data analytics platform for a U.S. Government customer.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen with active TS/SCI clearance (CI poly possible).
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or related field with 8+ years of experience.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs, server-side apps, and distributed components; working with relational or NoSQL DBs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable back-end applications, services, microservices, and components.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and service interfaces for data platforms and external systems.
• Build components for data ingestion, processing, querying, access, and analytics across distributed environments.
• Optimize performance, ensure security, authentication, authorization, and error handling.
• Participate in design reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, and Agile ceremonies.
