Vantor Inc. is seeking a motivated Junior Data Engineer to support a large-scale data analytics platform for a U.S. Government customer. The role focuses on building data pipelines, processing diverse data, and ensuring reliability and security in a mission-focused environment.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to translate data requirements into technical solutions, document workflows, and contribute to data quality and governance efforts. On-site work is required in the United States.

Qualifikationen

• U.S. Citizen with active TS/SCI clearance; willing to obtain CI poly.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 1–4 years of relevant experience in data engineering or related areas.
• Demonstrated experience in data engineering, software development, or related discipline.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL and/or Elastic; experience with scripting and automated data workflows.
• Experience with relational databases or distributed data processing and basic data modeling/ETL concepts.
• Willingness to work onsite at least 90%

Aufgaben

• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot data ingestion, transformation, and integration pipelines for large-scale analytics.
• Support integration and processing of structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data from diverse sources using distributed processing tech.
• Assist deployment, configuration, monitoring, and optimization of data engineering components in various environments (cloud/on-premises/hybrid).
• Implement data validation, quality assurance, and monitoring to ensure data accuracy and performance.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, engineers, and government stakeholders; document workflows and designs.
