Job summary

Truelogic seeks a versatile software engineer to design and build data-heavy products with a strong backend in Java and frontend in React. Qualifications

• 5+ years with Java in backend development.
• 1+ year each with JavaScript and React on frontend.
• 3+ years in SQL, PostgreSQL or Redshift preferred.
• Strong CS fundamentals: algorithms, data structures, OOP, performance.
• Experience designing RESTful backend services.
• Experience writing automated tests.
• Experience with product experimentation and KPIs.
• Proven collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Job Summary

The project is driven by the management of data from several industries in the market. Creating, transforming and exposing data in a platform that you will be developing along side a robust team of developers.

Responsibilities

• Embrace and support the vision of the organization.
• Design, develop, enhance, and support new and existing products and features.
• Implement and evaluate AI and LLM-based solutions to address specific business problems or improve existing processes.
• Work closely with other engineers to develop sound technical architecture and design to complex technical challenges.
• Follow best practices for SDLC and documentation. Create quality designs that meet requirement needs, conduct unit testing and automate where it makes sense, conduct code reviews, and focus on delivering high-quality work.
• Collaborate across the organization to gain a shared understanding of the initiative, perform analysis, and propose a solution.
• Ensure that the code meets performance, reliability, quality, security, and testability standards and is able to support high-traffic and high-availability.
• Learn and develop skills in new technologies that can be leveraged to improve existing applications.
• Develop scalable data visualization solutions.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

• Backend: 5+ years with Java
• Frontend: 1+ year each with JavaScript and React.
• SQL: 3+ years, ideally including PostgreSQL or Redshift.
• Computer science fundamentals: Algorithms, data structures, OOP and performance optimization.
• Resful API: Experience designing and developing backend services.
• Unit Testing: Experience writing and maintaining automated tests.
• A/B Testing & KPIs: Experience with product experimentation, A/B testing, and business metrics.
• Product collaboration: Experience working with cross-functional product teams.

Nice to Have Skills

• Spring Boot: Experience developing Java backend applications.
• Other Backend Languages: Python, C#, Go, C++, or C.
• AWS: EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, or Redshift.
• Docker & Kubernetes: Containerization and orchestration.
• AI/ML & LLMs: Machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and data preprocessing, including tokenization.
• Data Visualization: Experience developing visualization features.
