Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. seeks a Senior Business Analyst to define functionality for ICE's post-trade and risk products in futures and options markets. You will liaison between stakeholders and a software-development team, translating business needs into system requirements for large-scale projects.

You will develop artifacts, support demos and training, and ensure on-time delivery while collaborating across teams to optimize existing systems and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience required.
• 5+ years’ software product development, business analysis, QA, or related experience.
• Strong business-writing and excellent communication skills required.
• Competence in data analysis and Microsoft Office tools (SQL, Word and Excel).
• Highly detail-oriented with keen organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment and within deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with stakeholders in non-technical terms to learn business workflows and propose solutions.
• Translate business requirements into functional requirements for the development team.
• Reconcile conflicting requirements with stakeholders.
• Assess impact of new systems on existing systems and communicate findings.
• Develop analysis artifacts including use-cases, activity diagrams, UI schematics, business rules, technical specs, process flows, and API documentation.
• Adhere to change-control procedures and ensure requirements changes are agreed with release teams and stakeholders.
• Conduct demonstrations and training sessions; assist end users to adopt tools.
• Produce end-user documentation including release notes and guides.
• Query and compile data to support management and sales strategic analysis.
• Support QA and development efforts as required.
• Assist project management to prioritize and track system enhancements.
