Job summary

Highwire is seeking a Senior Account Manager to lead integrated communications programs for select B2B technology clients, focusing on enterprise software, cloud, AI, security, and data. You will guide multi-disciplinary teams, deliver strategic counsel, and drive thought leadership through media and analyst relations.

You will mentor peers, contribute to new business development, and ensure programs deliver measurable business impact.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six years of experience in PR, marketing, or communications agencies, with at least one year as an Account Manager.
• Established media relationships and proven experience pitching feature placements for technology clients.
• Strong writing, strategic thinking, and deep understanding of the technology media landscape.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day account leadership for up to 5 B2B technology clients, guiding teams of 5–10.
• Direct strategic media relations, shaping story angles and proactive outreach.
• Contribute to agency growth through new business development and client case studies.
• Mentor and develop team members, mapping work to client goals and agency standards.
• Oversee programs from kickoff to measurable impact, including budgets and billing.
• Deliver high-level account management and strategic counsel for technology clients.
