Job summary

Pit Shop Auto Repair in Lombard, IL is seeking an experienced B-Level Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and service a range of vehicles in a busy shop. You will work with diagnostics, general repairs, and advanced work while following established shop procedures.

The team includes a dedicated trainer, a training center, and a two-day orientation. Benefits include weekly pay, a 30-hour weekly guarantee, and comprehensive medical and retirement options.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience.
• B-Level Automotive Technician experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work in a flat-rate environment.
• Coachable and comfortable with structured shop processes.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns.
• Perform general automotive maintenance and repairs.
• Complete repairs based on skill level.
• Perform thorough vehicle inspections and DVIs.
• Accurately document findings and recommended repairs.
• Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining quality.
• Follow established inspection, estimating, and repair procedures.
• Communicate repair findings with the service team.
• Maintain strong productivity and consistently flag hours.
