Job summary
Pit Shop Auto Repair in Lindenhurst, IL is seeking an experienced B-Level Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles in a busy shop. The role offers a flat-rate pay structure with a 30-hour weekly guarantee and weekly payroll.
Ideal candidates will have at least 5+ years in automotive repair, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to work within a structured shop system. Training and modern diagnostic equipment are provided to support ongoing skill development.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience.
- B-Level Automotive Technician experience
- Strong general repair skills.
- Diagnostic and drivability abilities.
- Electrical troubleshooting abilities and ability to complete repairs independently.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns.
- Perform general automotive maintenance and repairs.
- Complete repairs based on skill level.
- Perform thorough vehicle inspections and DVIs.
- Accurately document findings and recommended repairs.
- Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining quality.
- Follow established inspection, estimating, and repair procedures.
- Communicate repair findings with the service team.
- Maintain strong productivity and consistently flag hours.
