Job summary

CACI is seeking an AVD (Azure Virtual Desktop) Engineer to design, configure, and maintain a large enterprise virtual desktop environment. This role will serve as the SME for troubleshooting performance issues and will require strong system design, integration, and automation skills.

The ideal candidate has experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure AD, Intune, FSLogix, and VDI provisioning, plus the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain DoD Security Clearance
• Master's degree with 7+ years of experience OR 16 years of experience
• Experience in Microsoft Azure, Azure Networking, Storage and Virtual Desktops
• Experience managing and administering Windows Servers
• Experience with Azure AD, Intune, FSLogix
• Experience in VDI profile management
• Endpoint protection, policy management and application of STIGs
• AVD integration with Office 365 services
• Desktop Software provisioning and Support Services
• Collaborate and work well in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Provide TIER 3/4 support to system administrators to resolve VDI issues.
• Guide on desktop optimization for platform interoperability and liaise between VDI technologies.
• Offer endpoint support on VDI-related issues and troubleshooting tasks.
• Maintain advanced knowledge of VDI administration, engineering, and implementation.
• Operate across multiple, complex production environments with multiple stakeholders.
• Apply extensive technical expertise and have knowledge of related disciplines.
• Conduct trade studies and make recommendations on solutions and make-vs-buy decisions.
