Job summary

Syms Strategic Group, LLC is seeking a Principal Solutions Architect to lead the design and delivery of Azure-based solutions for VA programs. This is a 100% remote, W-2 role with eligibility for security clearances and a focus on enterprise-scale cloud architectures.

The candidate will collaborate with business development, pre-bid teams, and technical staff to develop comprehensive, compliant, and cost-effective proposals while guiding engineers and architects to successful delivery.

Qualifications

• Azure cloud design, deployment, and governance experience.
• Security/compliance practices for HIPAA, GDPR, PCI DSS in cloud.
• Strong automation scripting with Python/PowerShell/CLI.
• Ability to lead multiple initiatives and mentor teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of complete Azure-based solutions to meet customer needs.
• Collaborate with BD, capture, and proposal teams on bids.
• Design secure, scalable Azure architectures aligned to standards.
• Provide guidance to team members and manage risk.
• Work with Enterprise Architect on secure, scalable cloud designs.
