Job summary

Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a Solutions Architect Principal to lead Azure-based solution design for VA requirements. This 100% U.S.-based remote role requires citizenship and a Public Trust level clearance, with strong pre-bid and proposal leadership.

The role emphasizes architecture governance, staff mentorship, and close collaboration with BD, proposal, and enterprise teams to deliver secure, scalable cloud solutions that meet customer cost and schedule targets.

Qualifications

• Proven design, deployment and management of Azure infrastructure and services.
• Experience with large-scale, high-availability cloud architectures.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA/GDPR/PCI DSS and security best practices.
• Experience with multi-subscription Azure environments and governance.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices on Azure.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of complete Azure-based solutions for customer requirements.
• Collaborate with BD, capture, proposal teams to optimize proposals.
• Identify staffing needs for Pre-Bid and Proposal efforts.
• Coordinate technical personnel and mentoring within the team.
• Guide architecture and ensure alignment with enterprise standards and risk.
• Design secure, scalable, highly available Azure cloud architectures.
