Job summary

Corient is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to architect and operate our enterprise data platform on Azure. You will build reusable frameworks for ingestion, orchestration and workflow execution, and own infrastructure for data systems including identity integration.

You will lead by example, implement IaC with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines, and drive observability, governance, and cross-team platform initiatives across engineering and data groups.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in platform, infrastructure, or large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience building cloud-native platforms on Azure (compute, storage, networking).
• Hands-on IaC with Terraform and CI/CD automation.
• Designing highly available, scalable systems with defined SLAs/SLOs.
• Experience with event-driven architectures, APIs, streaming systems.

Responsibilities

• Architect and operate the enterprise data platform on Azure.
• Develop reusable platform frameworks for ingestion and orchestration.
• Own infrastructure engineering for data systems including compute, storage, and identity integration.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
• Design platform observability, monitoring, and governance frameworks.
• Lead system integration patterns including event-driven and batch architectures.
• Support M&A integration through scalable platform onboarding.
• Partner with analytics and data teams to enable platform usage.
• Provide architectural leadership and mentor engineers.
