Job summary

Moog Inc. in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Senior Application Developer to design, build, and operate enterprise cloud applications hosted on Azure and on‑prem environments.

You will work in a hybrid schedule with about three days per week at the East Aurora, NY facility, contributing to DevOps automation, AI-assisted software delivery, and cross‑team collaboration. You should bring a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of software development experience, plus strong Azure knowledge and proficiency in C#,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent experience.
• At least five (5) years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience with Azure (e.g. Functions, APIs, messaging, data services).
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages (C#, .NET, Python, or similar).
• Experience building or supporting distributed, cloud-based applications.
• Comfortable working in Agile/DevOps environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise cloud applications using .NET (C#, MVC, Blazor), Java (Struts 2, Spring).
• Perform code analysis, refactoring, and modernization to improve maintainability, test coverage, performance, and security posture using AI-assisted tools.
• Apply AI-assisted development practices across the software delivery lifecycle while preserving human design ownership.
• Evolve team practices toward AI-enabled engineering workflows with guardrails and best practices.
