Job summary

HTC Global Services seeks a hands-on enterprise software engineer in Grand Rapids to develop modern .NET Core applications on Azure. You will design RESTful APIs, optimize SQL queries, and build scalable cloud solutions using Docker and Kubernetes.

The role emphasizes CI/CD, Agile practices, and clear cross-functional communication. This onsite, full-time position offers opportunities to work across cloud services, containers, and DevOps, with a focus on secure, high-performance software

Qualifications

• Hands-on Azure Development experience with Functions, Service Bus, Logic Apps, Cosmos DB, Key Vault, and API Management (APIM).

Job Description:

Position Overview

Work on enterprise-level applications spanning modern .NET development, Azure cloud services, API development, databases, containerization, and automated deployment. This role combines hands-on software development with cloud engineering and DevOps responsibilities, with an emphasis on building secure, high-performance, scalable solutions.

What You'll Do / Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of enterprise-level applications using .NET Core and Azure services.

Develop and maintain robust, secure, and high-performance REST APIs.

Implement solutions using core Azure Development services, including:

Design efficient database schemas and write and optimize complex SQL queries.

Ensure database data integrity and performance.

Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to support automated, fast, and reliable software deployment.

Leverage Docker and Kubernetes (K8s) for application deployment, scaling, and management in a cloud environment.

Participate actively in an Agile development process, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Clearly communicate technical concepts, issues, and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

Hands-on Azure Development experience with Azure Functions, Service Bus, Logic Apps, Cosmos DB, Key Vault, and API Management (APIM).

Strong SQL skills, including writing and optimizing queries.

Experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines, such as with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (K8s).

Experience working within an Agile development process.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of Java development, Maven, and Spring Boot.

YAML knowledge for configuration and pipelines.

Advanced Postman usage.
