Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an experienced Senior Azure Integration Developer in the U.S. for enterprise-scale cloud integration solutions using Azure services. You will design and implement secure REST APIs, event-driven architectures, and serverless components with Python and SQL integrations, collaborating with multiple enterprise teams.

The role emphasizes CI/CD, API security, monitoring, and scalable patterns for ERPs, CRMs, and SaaS data flows. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development/integration experience.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Integration Services.
• Expertise in Azure Logic Apps, API Management, Functions, Service Bus, Event Grid.
• Experience developing REST APIs.
• Python development experience.
• Strong SQL and relational DB knowledge.
• JSON/XML data transformation and system-to-system integration.
• Experience with CI/CD, Git, and automated deployments.
• Knowledge of API security, logging, monitoring, and exceptions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise integration solutions using Azure Logic Apps, APIM, Functions, Service Bus, and Event Grid.
• Develop and manage secure REST APIs and integration frameworks connecting ERP, CRM, SaaS, data platforms, and external apps.
• Build Python-based automation and serverless apps, plus reusable integration utilities.
• Design and optimize SQL queries, data transformations, and workflows for performance and scalability.
• Develop event-driven and asynchronous integration using Service Bus, Event Grid, and Functions.
• Configure APIs through APIM including security, policies, routing, and integration.
• Create reusable integration components and services for multiple apps and processes.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, and teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Implement and support CI/CD pipelines for Azure integration components.
• Establish monitoring, logging, exception handling, security controls, and operations practices.
• Troubleshoot complex integration and API issues; perform root-cause analysis.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Azure Integration Developer with strong hands-on expertise in designing and developing enterprise-scale cloud integration solutions using Microsoft Azure Integration Services.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Azure Logic Apps, API Management (APIM), Azure Functions, Service Bus, REST APIs, Python, and SQL, along with experience building secure, scalable, and reliable integration solutions connecting enterprise and cloud applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise integration solutions using Azure Logic Apps, API Management, Azure Functions, Service Bus, and Event Grid.
• Develop and manage secure REST APIs and integration frameworks connecting ERP, CRM, SaaS, data platforms, and external applications.
• Build Python-based automation, serverless applications, and reusable integration utilities.
• Design and optimize SQL queries, databases, data transformations, and integration workflows for performance and scalability.
• Develop event-driven and asynchronous integration solutions using Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, and Azure Functions.
• Configure and manage APIs through Azure API Management (APIM), including security, policies, routing, and integration.
• Design reusable integration components and services that can support multiple enterprise applications and business processes.
• Collaborate with solution architects, business analysts, application teams, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Implement and support CI/CD pipelines for Azure integration components.
• Establish appropriate monitoring, logging, exception handling, security controls, and operational practices.
• Troubleshoot complex integration and API issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions.
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, performance optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with large-scale enterprise integration environments.
• Exposure to ERP/CRM integrations.
• Knowledge of cloud security and integration design best practices.
• Experience with Azure monitoring and operational support.
• Previous experience developing reusable integration frameworks or common integration services.

Compensation:

- $ 90,000 to $130,000 +COLA ($6000) Performance Bonus + Benefits. Bonus based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans. Application will be accepted by 11/08/2026
