Job summary

Compunnel, Inc. in Houston is seeking a Microsoft Azure Integration Consultant to design, implement, and support scalable integration solutions on Microsoft Azure.

You will work with Service Bus, Event Grid, Event Hubs, APIM and Logic Apps, applying patterns and building secure, containerized, and serverless architectures, with IaC and CI/CD pipelines. The role requires collaboration across business, engineering, and security teams and travel up to 20-30%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of .NET development with strong patterns.
• 8+ years of Azure and cloud-native architecture.
• 5+ years with Azure Integration Services (Service Bus, Event Grid, Event Hubs, APIM, Logic Apps).
• Experience with Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Redis, Storage.
• Hands-on with containerization, Azure Functions, Azure Container Apps.
• Terraform and Azure DevOps experience.
• Strong monitoring using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics.
• Willingness to travel 20–30%

Responsibilities

• Design scalable integration solutions on Azure.
• Architect using Service Bus, Event Grid, Event Hubs, APIM.
• Apply integration patterns: Publish/Subscribe, Request/Reply, Message Transformation, retries.
• Design containerized/serverless solutions with Container Apps, App Services, Functions.
• Collaborate with business, engineering, security teams.
• Implement security with Managed Identity, Key Vault, OAuth, Private Link.
• Drive IaC with Terraform and CI/CD with Azure DevOps.
• Establish monitoring with Application Insights, Monitor, Log Analytics & KQL.
• Create architecture diagrams and technical docs (C4).
• Provide technical leadership through delivery.
• Support client migration and transformation initiatives.
• Deliver end-to-end production deployments.
