Job summary

Compunnel, Inc. is seeking a seasoned IT Architect to design, implement, and oversee enterprise IT solutions aligned with strategic goals. You will lead cross-functional teams, define architecture standards, and ensure scalable, secure systems across cloud, data, and application domains.

The role emphasizes integration leadership, leveraging Azure Integration Services and APIs to connect systems, data sources, and applications. Strong governance and DevOps collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7+ years in IT architecture, system design, software development, or infrastructure engineering.
• Proven cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP) and enterprise frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman.
• Hands-on experience with integration patterns, APIs, SOA, middleware, and microservices architectures.
• Strong cybersecurity principles and compliance knowledge (NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR, PCI).
• Proficiency in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL), data warehousing, and data governance frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise IT architecture solutions across cloud, infrastructure, application, and data domains.
• Evaluate business requirements and translate them into technical designs and architecture blueprints.
• Ensure systems and integrations are scalable, secure, and compliant with standards.
• Lead the integration of new technologies, APIs, and third-party services.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, ensuring best practices.
• conduct system performance analyses, risk assessments, and optimization strategies.
• Collaborate with executives, engineers, and business teams to align IT initiatives with objectives.
• Define and document architecture standards, policies, and governance procedures.
• Partner with DevOps to automate CI/CD pipelines for integration and deployment.
• Design and implement cloud infrastructure for high availability and cost efficiency.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions.
