Job summary

JCS Solutions LLC in Fort Meade, MD is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer (Azure/Identity) to design, engineer, implement, and sustain secure Azure cloud solutions for DoD mission needs. This hands-on senior role emphasizes hybrid cloud architectures, identity governance, and Zero Trust alignment.

The successful candidate will hold DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II certification, 12–15 years of related experience or equivalent, and will contribute across architecture, automation, and operations to support

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS/IS/Engineering or related field with 12–15 years of exp., or Master's with 10–13 yrs., or Doctorate.
• Active DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification is required.
• Strong experience designing and implementing Microsoft Azure enterprise cloud solutions.
• Experience with hybrid Azure environments and enterprise identity management.
• Knowledge of RMF/STIGs and DoD cybersecurity requirements.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, engineer, and implement secure Microsoft Azure cloud solutions for DoD mission requirements.
• Design and deploy greenfield Azure environments and hybrid cloud architectures.
• Implement Azure Landing Zones, governance, and CAF/Well-Architected Framework guidance.
• Develop and enforce identity governance, privileged access, and zero trust controls.
• Automate cloud administration using CLI, PowerShell, and Python.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, networking, and dev teams to support ATO activities.
