Job summary

Defense Acquisition Support Services (DAS) seeks a Senior Systems Administrator at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD to manage secure Microsoft Azure Government cloud environments and enterprise DoD infrastructure. You will handle complex system administration, cybersecurity compliance, and hosting for mission-critical workloads.

The role requires hands-on expertise in Azure Government, RBAC, Entra ID, and automation via Azure CLI/PowerShell, with a Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure Government environments (Army cArmy, ECMA).
• Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity requirements (STIGs, IAVM, CTOs).
• Proficient with Azure CLI and PowerShell for automation.
• Experience securing remote access (RDP) and privileged accounts.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain secure Azure Government environments across subscriptions.
• Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure: VMs, storage, networking, identity services.
• Support Linux workloads with containers and Azure App Services.
• Implement IAVM compliance and STIGs across systems.
• Document incidents and resolutions in enterprise ticketing systems.
