Job summary

LPL Financial is seeking a Senior Microsoft Azure Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our Windows Server infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security for client services. You will collaborate with IT teams to upgrade infrastructure, automate deployments with IaC, and apply Azure best practices, RBAC, and monitoring across cloud and hybrid environments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Azure services across compute, storage, networking, and databases.
• 5+ years Azure security features such as RBAC, Azure Security Center, and Azure Key Vault with Azure AD identity management.
• 5+ years monitoring and managing Azure resources using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Management Groups.
• 5+ years Azure DevOps for CI/CD and IaC, with governance concepts using Azure Policy, Blueprint, and Cost Management.
• 5+ years of hybrid cloud solutions with Azure Arc and data services for data integration and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage Active Directory infrastructure to maintain a secure user environment.
• Monitor server performance and conduct health checks to optimize performance for financial applications.
• Plan and implement server upgrades, patches, and migrations with minimal disruption to financial operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve server incidents, minimizing impact on business processes.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for recovery and knowledge sharing.
